The indigenous variety Karasakız is unique to the Gallipoli Peninsula region and grows at Bozokbag, the family vineyard on the Gallipoli Peninsula.
Tasting Notes: It has a bright red cherry color and it shows the notes of smashed strawberries, fig and thyme on the nose. Flavorful and full textured, Karasakız has a balanced acidity and a pleasant persistent finish. Works best with salty foods, asian dishes as well as tomato and garlic based sauces and dishes.
